Where is your company located?
We're your friends in the "great white north", Ontario Canada is where we're headquartered, however we have several outlets with our US partners shipping from California, Texas, New York, Illinois, and Louisiana.
Why is a Tax ID Number required?
US Customs stipulates that any order over $200 requires a business tax id number to be filled out accordingly on shipping documents.
Orders shipping from Canada into the US, we do not charge any taxes, however, as noted above, a business tax id number is required.
Orders shipping from the US into Canada OR from Canada within Canada, applicable Federal & Provincial taxes will be charged. SpaBowls.com will handle all necessary Customs documents for goods to be cleared through Customs into Canada.
I'm a Canadian client, why am I being charged in USD?
The majority of our suppliers are based in the United States and charge SpaBowls.com in US funds. Your credit card provider will process the exchange rate accordingly into Canadian funds.
I'm an American client, why am I being charged a "FX - foreign exchange fee" on my purchase.
This charge is NOT processed by SpaBowls.com or any of our affiliates. This charge is 'only sometimes' processed by your credit card provider. Please refer to your fine print agreement from your provider. (we realize it's no laughing matter; we've contacted banks and credit card providers several times on this and can't seem to get a straight answer) We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but this is a matter that would need to be addressed with your bank or credit card company.
